For a great combination of baking apple; use Granny Smith apples with Braeburn apples, or Northern Spies apples with Newtown apples or all apples together. Pan size: Fondue pot or a small crock pot to keep chocolate warm |
2 tub (7 oz.) dipping chocolate, any variety
3 large apples, sliced
pound cake cut into cubes
1 pound fresh strawberries
kiwi's
2 oranges
long party tooth picks
1. Microwave chocolate as directed on package. Stir until completely melted.Keep warm in a small fondue pot or small crock pot.
2. Wash, peel, and cube the assorted favorite fruits and cakes on a serving plate. Set plate and toothe picks next to the fondue pot. Carefully dip in chocolate.
3. Serve assorted dippers, such as sliced apples, pound cake cubes, strawberries washed and stem removed, peeled kiwi slices, orange wedges, maraschino cherries, candy canes or pretzel rods, marshmellows, banana thick sliced.
